JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT DAY - NORTHERN MIDDLE SCHOOL

On Tuesday, November 9th, the InTandem Financial team volunteered with Junior Achievement at Northern Middle School in Dillsburg. The YES! – YOUR ECONOMIC SUCCESS program is a half day program that consists of four activities intended to help students gain an appreciation for the importance that financial and career decisions will play in their lives as young adults. We had the privilege to talk with 8th grade students about Interviewing Tips, Keeping Your Balance (money management), Resume Building and STEM Skills.

JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT – YES! PROGRAM

On November 12th, the InTandem Financial Team spent the morning at Northern York County Middle School participating in the YES! Program for Junior Achievement! Team members shared their career story with rotating groups of 7th & 8th graders and lead the students through activities to help them begin thinking about jobs and careers. It was so fun to go to school and to gain a fresh appreciation for the teachers, administrators and staff who invest in our children every day.

Asset Planning & Financial Planning for Physicians

On Thursday, August 8th, InTandem Financial and Saxton & Stump Lawyers and Consultants, offered a seminar exclusively for physicians at The Mill in Hershey. While guests enjoyed farm to table cuisine, Scott Mitchell from Saxton & Stump presented valuable information regarding “What Physicians Need to Know About Estate/Tax Planning and Asset Protection”. Jay Broeg from InTandem Financial followed Scott’s presentation with a discussion on “Financial Planning for Medical Professionals”. The event concluded with a robust Q & A time, a delightful dessert buffet and quality time around the table for participants who had time to relax and enjoy the company.

Strategies for Maximizing Your Social Security Income

InTandem Financial was pleased to present “Strategies for Maximizing Your Social Security Income” on Thursday, July 25th, at the West Shore Country Club in Camp Hill, PA. Guests enjoyed a delicious lunch as they heard from David Harris, Vice President of Nationwide Retirement Institute, as he shared the basics of Social Security and the key considerations every person contemplating retirement should discuss with their financial advisor. Matt Krise and Jay Broeg illustrated how our team at InTandem Financial uses a personal financial plan to help our clients weigh their options so their hard earned retirement dollars last. Financial Planning for Medical Professionals

Since medical professionals have unique financial planning needs, Jay and Minta provided lunch and presented a workshop on Tuesday, June 4th, specifically for Hershey Medical Center Allergy/Immunology fellows. This seminar helps physicians create a plan to tackle high student loan debt, account for the earnings gap and high income potential through retirement planning and investing, while reviewing protection options for life, disability and long-term care events.
