BRETHREN HOUSING ASSOCIATION – IT’S ABOUT MORE THAN JUST DINNER!
To spread holiday cheer, InTandem Financial collected items for a Holiday Meal Box for the Brethren Housing Association (BHA).
Brent Smith, Chairman of the BHA Board of Directors, said, “InTandem Financial’s holiday sponsorship of Brethren Housing Association means a recently homeless single mom and her kids will have a home cooked meal on Christmas. It’s about more than just dinner. It’s about providing these children with positive Christmas memories to last a lifetime and making Mom’s load a little lighter by giving her the ingredients she needs to make that amazing meal. Thank you – BHA can’t do it without supporters like you!”
INAUGURAL LINK FOUNDATION GOLF OUTING
On Monday, October 4th, InTandem Financial partners, Jay Broeg and Matt Krise, together with friends of the firm Peter Ballantine (OnPoint) and Scott Mitchell (Saxton & Stump), participated in the Inaugural LINK Foundation Golf Outing.
The LINK Foundation, a separate legal entity from LINKBANK, provides monetary grants to deserving nonprofits across South Central, Pennsylvania that are in line with their fundraising criteria. The Foundation’s funding initiatives are focused on three pillars: development of future leaders, promoting financial literacy, and personal growth with a commitment to give back and positively impact local communities.
UNITED WAY OF THE CAPITAL REGION – “STUFF THE BUS” EVENT
If you ask the ladies at InTandem Financial to list their favorite things to buy, office supplies would be at the top of the list! Since our team also loves to support our community through the United Way Day of Caring, it doubled our pleasure to collect school supplies for Stuff the Bus! All donated items will go to local schools participating in the Ready for School, Ready to Succeed initiative. When we all do what we can, we truly make a difference!
HOMELAND HOSPICE 5K & MEMORY WALK
We are excited to share snapshots of the InTandem Financial team serving at the Homeland Hospice 5k & Memory Walk on Saturday, June 19th. We had a great time cheering on runners, manning the water station, and directing runners along the course. A special thank you to Homeland Hospice for organizing a successful and uplifting event!
10th ANNUAL POLAR BEAR FOUNDATION GOLF TOURNAMENT
Matt and Jay spent the day with friends of the firm, Paul Hayes and Vince Apicella, to support the Polar Bear Foundation, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) educational foundation providing financial support to K-12 students and staff in the Northern York County School. The Polar Bear Foundation was founded in 2007 to secure monetary gifts to supplement funds for student activities and programs and initiatives that are outside of the regular operating budget.
The Polar Bear Foundation helps make good things happen for our schools and students by organizing special events and through the generous donations of individuals, groups, and corporations. InTandem Financial is proud to support the Polar Bear Foundation!
BETHESDA MISSION – DELIVERING HOPE TO OUR COMMUNITY
On Tuesday, February 23rd, InTandem Financial collaborated with our friends at Simply Turkey & More to deliver 100 meals to nourish the guests of Bethesda Mission. Thank you Simply Turkey & More for partnering with us and thank you Bethesda Mission for continuing to spark hope in our community.
PAULUS MT. AIRY ORCHARDS – VALENTINE’S DAY GIFT BAGS
While visiting Paulus Mt. Airy Orchards, Minta Krise had the opportunity to learn about and sponsor a Valentine's Day gift bag for nursing home residents. Each bag includes flowers, donuts, applesauce, apples, chocolate, and a card from Paulus Mt. Airy Orchards. Thank you, Paulus Mt. Airy Orchards for making an impact and spreading love within our community!
INTANDEM FINANCIAL – TOY STORY 4 CLIENT MOVIE EVENT
On Sunday, December 29th, it was our pleasure to host our clients and friends of the firm for a Toy Story 4 Family Movie Event at the historic Carlisle Theatre! Over 250 guests attended and helped InTandem Financial collect $1,067 in cash/check donations, $100 in Giant Gift Cards and 820 food items for New Hope Ministries!
